GARP Global Association of Risk Professionals

PRMIA Professional Risk Managers International Association
Offers the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification, sometimes requested by financial services companies looking for risk managers. The PRM is a higher standard for risk professionals. The association is a fast-growing, collaborative network of risk professionals from around the globe, defining and implementing the best practices of risk management. From the cradle to the pinnacle of your career, as a PRMIA member you can gain sound risk management practices, increased awareness of ethical issues and standards of conduct, certification of your skills, access to professional development programs and the opportunity to participate in multiple networks for the free exchange of ideas with your peers. PRMIA is a non-profit professional association offering a vast array of resources to its members, including:

RMA Risk Management Association
Founded in 1914, The Risk Management Association (RMA), is a not-for-profit, member-driven professional association, whose sole purpose is to advance the use of sound risk principles in the financial services industry. RMA promotes an enterprise approach to risk management that focuses on credit risk, market risk, operational risk and regulatory compliance:
